International Business Women's Group

The IBWG Dubai membership comprises a wonderfully talented, inspirational, motivated and ambitious group of women, and we want to highlight and recognise the valuable role that each of us plays in today’s challenging business environment.

Following on from the success of our inaugural Achievement Award 2009, and our first winner - Hala Aluraibi of Brush & Co. - we invite members to submit their nominations for the 2010 programme.

Do you know, or are you a member who:

  • Has achieved outstanding success in her career or business?
  • Overcome substantial obstacles to get where she is?
  • Faces and embraces challenges, professionally and/or personally?
  • Is a wonderfully supportive individual of other professional women?
  • Is a staunch supporter or creator of community projects?

The nomination process:

  • Members can nominate fellow members every month from January to October
  • Members can nominate more than one member each month
  • Members are encouraged to nominate themselves
  • Nominations are to be submitted by the 25th of each month

Monthly nominees will be announced at our breakfast and lunch networking events and profiled on our 2010 Achievers Board which is displayed at each event.

In November, members will be asked to vote for one member as the overall 2010 Achiever, from the consolidated nominees list.

The IBWG Dubai 2010 Achievement Award will then be presented at our end-of-year event in December.
